Recent years have seen the introduction of the Civil Procedure
rules, Access to Justice Act, CFA Regulations and considerable
costs case law. The CFA Regulations have, as of the 1st November
2005, been revoked and new CFA regulations introduced. At DB Costings
we pride ourselves on remaining fully conversant with such changes
and advising our clients accordingly.
We prepare all types of Bills covering personal injury, clinical/professional
negligence, breach of contract, land/building/boundary disputes,
housing and solicitor/own client. We deal with all of the Courts
from County Court through to the Court of Appeal.
Matrimonial/Family (including care)
As with civil matters, family and care cases have seen the introduction
of extensive and revised regulations over several years. By remaining
fully conversant with these changes and through our experience
in handling a large number of family/care cases, we are able to
fully advise on the appropriate levels of enhancement. We work
with our clients to establish the correct enhancement which can
be fully justified at assessment and, by working in partnership,
receive frequent feedback of what enhancements have been allowed.
At DB Costings, we prepare all types of criminal Bills and specialise
in Crown Court cases. We are experienced in applying enhancements
and providing justification of the same taking into account matters
such as the complexity of the case, the expediency with which
it was undertaken or the high level of responsibility taken by
the fee earner.
